Mr. Howard Lubert, Managing Partner - is the Founder and Managing Partner of SafeHatch LLC.  He brings more than 25 years of experience in the design, configuration, implementation and integration of complex IT systems into corporate business environments.  At Deloitte and Touche Mr. Lubert helped create the eBusiness consulting service line for the firm and led teams in various Inter/Intranet technology engagements.  At Safeguard Scientifics he formalized the due diligence process and executed technical due diligence reviews.  He brings his unique mix of technical and private equity related experience with Safeguard and other VC and Angel Investment related funds to SafeHatch.  Mr. Lubert has also developed successful channel marketing programs for many high tech firms including Novell and IBM and served as the Chairman of an international trade association for the networking technology industry.

(“Chuck”) Carter, Partner - A broad-based, entrepreneurial senior business executive with creative vision and with CEO experience spanning the gamut from large companies to small, early stage companies.  Strong management, leadership, strategic planning, business development, sales/marketing, international, legal and deal making background, skills and capabilities.  A passion for assisting early stage companies to develop and is particularly adept at building companies, their businesses and their organizations.  Possesses broad-based industry experience including consumer and military electronics, consumer and industrial products, power tools, automotive, HVAC, architecture/engineering design/construction/real estate development & management, staff augmentation, government contracts, environmental, renewable energy, power production, waste management and the service sector.
Marty Rogoff, Partner - An accomplished executive with a twenty-five year track record of profitability improvement and revenue growth in businesses from start-ups to growth to billion dollar international corporations.
As a business consultant, he uses that expertise-both past successes as well as failures-- to challenge and counsel the executive team and then to partner with that team to analyze opportunities, develop goals and achieve results. He has successfully developed and implemented management change strategies within such diverse industries as financial services, retailing and fashion merchandising, and internet product marketing. With extensive general senior management experience in retailing and consumer products, Marty will lead our practice in those areas.
Jack Warnock, Partner - Jack is a highly experienced executive who generates continuous, positive business outcomes by successfully managing risk, resources, and growth.  Jack works mostly with CEOs and their teams who want to grow their business faster and get much more out of their hard work than they do now.  His expertise is specifically in: mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures & strategic alliances, governance & risk management, finance & operations, management due diligence, integration & recruitment; capital markets, and succession planning.  Prior to joining SafeHatch, Jack was a CPA at Arthur Andersen; CFO at FTP Software, Thinking Machines, and Towers Perrin Administration Solutions, M&A at Verizon (Bell Atlantic), Office Managing Partner at Tatum, Business Consulting & Development at Smart Devine. Co-founder at JW Strategic Advisors, McIsaac Risk Solutions and Safeguard Scientifics (Bridge Tech Partners), Investment Banker at W.H. Newbold’s, and currently serves on the Board of Directors at C.W. Thomas.  Jack helps business leaders achieve their goals by improving their analysis, decision making, relationships, communication, organization, trust and confidence.
